Course Description: This course develops a focus on American literature with highlights on works from the 19th and 20th centuries and authors such as Melville, Longfellow, Dickinson, Sandburg, Frost, Twain, and Bryant. LDS authors of historical and fictional works and correlations with the current course of studies in history are included.
