Credits: 0
Sessions per Week: Four sessions per week comprised of three 30 minutes sessions with teacher and one test day.
Tuition: $60

Course Description: Math 8/7 is the culmination of Saxon Home School Math for Middle Grades, reviewing arithmetic calculation, measurements, basic geometry, and other foundational concepts and skills. At the same time, Math 8/7 includes extensive pre-algebra exercises, preparing the students for upper-level mathematics.  Students complete 5 lessons per week, correct their own homework and submit tests for grading.  75% of grade is test scores and 25% is homework scores.

Math90

Saxon Algebra ½

Prerequisite: Saxon Math 87 or equivalent placement test
Required Text: Saxon Algebra ½, 2nd Edition, text only
Credits: 1
Sessions per Week: Four sessions per week comprised of three 30 minute sessions with teacher and one test day.
Tuition: $60

Course Description: Algebra 1/2 represents a culmination of prealgebra mathematics, covering all topics normally taught in prealgebra, as well as additional topics from geometry and discrete mathematics (used in engineering and computer sciences).  Students complete 5 lessons per week, correct their own homework and submit tests for grading.  75% of grade is test scores and 25% is homework scores.

Math100

Saxon Algebra 1

Prerequisites: Saxon Algebra ½ or equivalent placement test
Required Text: Saxon Algebra 1, 3rd Edition, text only
Credits: 1
Sessions per Week: Four sessions per week comprised of three 30 minute sessions with teacher and one test day.
Tuition: $60

Course Description: Algebra 1 covers all topics in a first-year algebra course, from proofs, statistics, and probability to algebra-based, real-world problems. With Algebra 1, students begin developing the more complex skills and understanding required for high school level mathematics.  Students complete 5 lessons per week, correct their own homework and submit tests for grading.  75% of grade is test scores and 25% is homework scores.

Math110

Saxon Algebra 2

Prerequisites: Saxon Algebra 1 or equivalent placement test

Credits: 1
Sessions per Week: Four sessions per week comprised of three 30 minute sessions with teacher and one test day.
Tuition: $60

Course Description: Algebra 2 covers all topics that are traditionally covered in second-year algebra as well as a considerable amount of geometry. In fact, students completing Algebra 2 will have studied the equivalent of one semester of informal geometry. Time is spent developing geometric concepts and writing proof outlines. Real-world problems are included along with applications to other subjects such as physics and chemistry.  Students complete 5 lessons per week, correct their own homework and submit tests for grading.  75% of grade is test scores and 25% is homework scores.

Credits: 1
Sessions per Week: Four sessions per week comprised of three 30 minute sessions with teacher and one test day.
Tuition: $60

Course Description: Advanced Mathematics fully integrates topics for algebra, geometry, trigonometry, discrete mathematics, and mathematical analysis. Word problems are developed throughout the problem sets and become progressively more elaborate. With this practice, high-school level students will be able to solve challenging problems such as rate problems and work problems involving abstract quantities. Conceptually oriented problems that help prepare students for college entrance exams (such as the ACT and SAT) are included in the problem sets.  Students complete 5 lessons per week, correct their own homework and submit tests for grading.  75% of grade is test scores and 25% is homework scores.
