Course Description: The fall semester portion of this course is dedicated to a thorough study of the foundations and principles of the government of the United States through the documents that established it.  The course will examine the history and role of The Articles of Confederation, The Declaration of Independence, the US Constitution including the Bill of rights and 17 additional amendments.  The spring semester will turn to a study of the application of correct economic principles as illustrated with great entertainment value by John Stossel, ABC News’ famous investigative reporter.  Study guides provide the background materials students need to fully appreciate the significance of the economic lessons.
